Promotion is an important part of the marketing pie. There are three primary objectives to promotion:
- Informing – Running a promotion that makes potential customers aware of your products and/or services.
- Persuading – Running a promotion that makes people interested in trying the product. (They are already aware, but now it is time to buy)
- Reminding – Running a promotion to reinforce your brand, reminding people who already buy that you are around.
