Today, I want to give a review of Dave Ramsey’s EntreLeadership: 20 Years of Practical Business Wisdom from the Trenches . This is more of a general, all around business book than a marketing specific book, but I really want to make sure you business owners and managers out there are aware of this amazing resource.
I rarely get into a book and am surprised by what I find. This book was a complete surprise to me. I expected it to heavily emphasize the financial side of running a business, that is Mr. Ramsey’s forte after all. However, this is a great book on leadership and running a business. There are so many wonderful ideas in this book, I couldn’t believe how much was covered. The biggest thing about this book is the amazing leadership advice offered. He really shares some amazing thoughts on leadership being key to a successful business and what it means to act like a leader.
I am a Dave Ramsey fan when it comes to personal finance and would recommend his programs/books to anyone. Now, I am a fan of Dave Ramsey the business leader.
You may not completely agree with everything he says or some of his personal views that come out in the book, but please try to see past any disagreements. Trust me, for anything that you don’t agree with, there will be several ideas you will be glad you found.
